Our Process

The college admissions process is a great opportunity to develop vital executive function skills for a lifetime: time and task management, planning and calendaring, execution and self-advocacy.

Our students learn how to vet their best-fit schools by determining their own successful match criteria. We curate actionable deliverable lists and co-author custom timelines to reduce pressure and avoid late night cramming before application deadlines.

Regardless of grade level, we advise students to make meaningful, intentional choices around course selection, extracurricular pursuits, internships and jobs.

We celebrate storytelling.  Writers refine their craft to develop compelling, vulnerable and authentic narratives that feel and sound like them.

When it’s time to apply, our students have received all the expert guidance they need to build a well-balanced list of viable schools where they can succeed.

Our Commitment to Ongoing Professional Development

To remain current on admission data trends and best consulting practices, we maintain active memberships with IECA and NACAC.  We have also studied under UCLA’s College Counseling certificate program and IECA’s Summer Training Institute.

As parents of two awesome high school kids, we were feeling excited but mostly overwhelmed when we knew it was time to apply for colleges.
