Building self-confident, independent, effective learners.

Every parent wants to channel their child’s innate curiosity and enthusiasm into lifelong confidence, self-sufficiency, and balance. Executive Function skill building is the most effective way to ensure that happens, offering foundational skills that remain relevant even—and especially—in our rapidly evolving, increasingly digital world.

Our EF coaches instill a range of empowering routines, sustainable study methods, and self-advocacy skills. These pillars of strong executive functioning allow young learners to become the nimble thinkers and dexterous problem solvers our ever-shifting world requires.

With refined models in place for all ages, our EF coaches adapt our program to meet the needs of elementary, middle school, high school, and adult students. Like any goal worthy of serious pursuit, EF skills cannot be acquired overnight. Even students who embrace our EF strategies and rituals deserve an academic quarter, semester or even a school year to develop these skills and make enduring gains.

In the end, EF work helps our learners take greater responsibility for their educational experience, more actively engage in their courses and experiences, and grow in self-awareness and self-expression. And just as parents know when they’ve raised their children well, we succeed when we work ourselves out of a job.

Hayutin instills key executive functions skills that serve learners well past school—to college, career, and life itself—including:

  • Calendaring, time, and task management
  • Physical and digital organization
  • Initiation, self-monitoring, and follow-through
  • Contextualized study skills
  • Self-advocacy and communication with teachers
  • Short and long-term goal setting

Hayutin helps many of our students with executive function skills and provides educational therapy. Students who receive support from them are more productive during their independent study time on campus and confident learners in the classroom.  In line with our approach, Hayutin creates an individualized plan for each student that considers the whole child and is conducive to their success. We appreciate their partnership and trust what they do.
